Rumors surfaced in January that we could have GTAV releasing on May 24th. That doesn’t seem to be the case, but that doesn’t rule out a trailer or even some sort of announcement. Why May 24th? Well clues are all over the place, just take a look for yourself.
First Clue: In the first trailer ever released for GTAV you can clearly see the numbers 2405 printed on a parking curb. The image is above.
Second Clue: The song used in the first trailer of GTAV, entitled “Gone Flake Ogden’s Nuts” by the band Small Faces, was released May 24, 1968.
Third Clue: Sam Houser, the founder of Rockstar Studios, was born on May 24, 1972.
Fourth Clue: a little far-fetched, in a sequence of Golf trailer of Grand Theft Auto V, we can read the inscriptions “8 by 3″. When you multiply 8 by 3, you get 24, when you subtract 3-8, you get 5 or May 24.
Fifth Clue: Rockstar has often released its games 6-7 months after the release of the first trailer. The first trailer of Grand Theft Auto V was released in November, the game unfortunately won’t be releasing in May but this could hint at some form of announcement.
Sixth Clue: At the back of the plane in the credits of ‘The Ballad of Gay Tony’, there is an inscription saying ’2451972′.
Yeah, it’s sketchy but there are a lot of sources that point towards this date. As Pachter said Rockstar likes to announce things right before E3, this seems like the perfect time.
But it’s times like these where I ask the question. “Is such a thing even possible? Yes, yes it is.”
