Now that PS Minis have a solid selection of decent games and three platforms supporting them, they’re not quite the joke that they were when Sony introduced them so long ago. Beatshapers has consistently brought solid titles over to the fledgling downloadable service, including the renowned Canabalt; this June, they’ll be porting an Xbox Live Indie Game gem, Wizorb, in conjunction with Triumph Studios.
If you weren’t aware, Wizorb is a 16-bit RPG-styled Breakout game. If you’re confused, just know the combination of genres and surplus retro charm is fun. And, for $4, it’s not exactly busting your wallet if picked up on a whim. I, for one, am easily addicted by games like this; BreakQuest similarly took hours of my time in days passed. Who’s ready to give this a go? If you played the other versions, how was it?
