Konami announced New Little King’s Story forever ago, but we finally have information on the title as relevant to Westerners. How relevant, you ask? How about a direct release window and some new info?
The game features an “updated” graphic style, a brand-new storyline, Featuring a less cutesy art style and a new storyline, we have a vague “Summer” release period to go by. If you were a fan of the original, I bet you’re spewing clumps in your undies right now, but know this: series creater Yoshiro Kimura has no involvement with this sequel. That doesn’t mean it’ll be bad at all, but people like to speculate and… well, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
We’ll be able to get our greasy little western hands on the title when it launches exclusively on Vita, and exclusively as a PSN title, this summer. If that whole “download-only” thing made sense, Konami wouldn’t charge full price for a title that doesn’t even have a physical product.
…right?
