ATLUS has released Gungnir, a new strategy RPG in the Dept Heaven series, into the wilds of North American PSN. The game will be available for download following today’s Playstation Store update and will be compatible with both PSP and PSVita, according to the press release, though I’ll personally be a little wary until I actually see it in my PSVita store – the exact text of the press release reads “ The PSN version of the game is also expected to be compatible with PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) handheld entertainment systems.” Still, if it works properly we Vita owners (that’s right, all seven of us!) will be in for a nice, deep RPG experience. I’ve yet to be disappointed with one of Atlus’s releases. Game on!
