Go for the Gold (PS3 Controller) In Europe Now, Gamestop This Fall

Do you not already have enough controllers for your PS3? Are you one of those people who likes having a bunch of different colored controllers? Are you just looking for something to place awkwardly in your living room that likely doesn’t match the decor of your entire house? You’re in luck!

To celebrate the Olympics, Europe is getting this controller this month. Here’s what the European PS Blog had to say about it: “As excitement builds for some of the biggest sporting events of the year PlayStation fans can get in on the action and feel like champs with the brand new, limited edition metallic gold Dualshock 3 controller.” That’s right, folks. Sony says sitting on your ass playing video games is all right, because you’ll feel like an Olympic Champion!

If you live in the country known as “North America,” this golden wonder will be available exclusively from Gamestop this October. Sadly, Iwata hasn’t made a few of these into real gold controllers that give access to Playstation’s magical factory of fun, but we’re crossing our fingers super hard.
