It’s a day that’s part of a weekend devoid of news, so why not enjoy a trailer showcasing the webslinging antics of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man? Beenox released this trailer a day or two ago, showcasing the fluidity of the webhead’s movement in the air, the new “web rush” ability, flashy combat, mission structure and more.
I won’t say this looks like GOTY material by any stretch, but it sure does look enjoyable to play. Some might take issue with the “sky-webbing” and moderately basic combat spiced up with enticing animations, though. One thing that bugs me is the webslinger’s suit. I know it’s based off of the new movie, but something about it just looks terrible. It looks like its sopping wet and lacking textures.
What do you think? Is this licensed game one of the few you’d be willing to pick up? Does the ability to shoot webs anywhere, not just onto buildings, bother you? I wonder if it’ll be the game to top the godliness of Spider-Man 2 from last gen.

Damn it why do games that have a dodge button have to make it into some sort of Assassin's Creed instant knock out, what happened to you know just dodging and continuing combos off from there and about the suit while on the ground the suit looks great at least compared to the terrible textures on everything else. The graphics also look a bit dated with hard edges extremely notice on cars and basically anything that isn't a box. The AI on enemies looks stupid they seem to just stand there waiting for you to hit them or for you to finish your knock out animation. This is just my opinion and I am sure it will still receive good reviews commenting on its "spectacular graphics" and its "intuitive game play".

LikeThe one thing that has me interested about this is the Stan Lee DLC from Amazon. You can play as Stan Lee!

LikeDcalebX I heard he recorded exclusive dialog for the DLC, and there's even a "mini-story" that accompanies it, wherein Stan Lee needs to recover lost pages of his classic comics scattered throughout Manhattan. TRUE BELIEVERS
