Yoot Saito, creator of the existentially odd pet simulator of sorts, tweeted this haunting image for all the world to see. According to a translation from Andriasang, Saito has said it’s time to start thinking about the end of the year, but I don’t want to think about this horrid combination. Could you imagine that swimming down your chimney on Christmas Eve, or sticking your hand in your stocking only to pull that sentient, flopping monstrosity out?
…Anyhow, what could his cryptic message mean? I’d bet on some kind of Seaman-related release for the end of the year, with a reveal of whatever it is sometime in the near future. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the “Japanse Aquaman” in action, right? There were rumors floating around of either a reboot for the 3DS or an entirely new game; I’d be excited for either one, really. Whatever it is, I can’t see anyone going through the effort of reskinning such an old game model and releasing it to the world with no intentions.
