[Contest OVER]: Win Rainbow Moon + Soundtrack!

All right folks! The contest has ended. The winners are:

Johnny Dinosaur: And with that, Episode Three will be delayed for approximately 15,000 years.

Veit: Saved by the Smell, you say? I think we’d all like to beat the hell out of Dustin.

Aces Higher: I don’t know what the fuck that is, but I’d be willing to bet it’s exactly what Kotick looks like without a suit on.

EarthofMoon: You won because your comment was the least shitty out of the remaining entries.

Jason Nally: You’re the Facebook winner. Good work for doing practically nothing and getting free stuff.

If you’ve been following our coverage of Rainbow Moon, you know that we’re extremely excited for the PSN exclusive strategy-RPG. With uniquely stylish graphics, dozens of hours of gameplay and solid game mechanics all around, Sidequest Studios has crafted a new RPG that’s refreshingly old-school. Best of all, this deliciously enormous game is only $14.99 on the Playstation Store, and just $11.99 if you’re a Playstation Plus member!

You can read our review here (we gave it an ‘A!’), and we’ve got something awesome for you from our friends at eastasiasoft: 5 copies of Rainbow Moon and the official CD soundtrack, Rainbow Moon Melodies, to accompany them! We’ve got two ways for you to win, and the first involves a little creativity:

Rainbow Moon is the name of the land you’ll be stranded in after a particularly nasty curse is placed upon you. While Rainbow Moon itself is rather nice, the dimensional gate that opened up upon your arrival isn’t; seemingly infinite monsters and beasts will come clamoring out of the rift for you to combat.

With over 100 different creatures awaiting battle in Rainbow Moon, what would you like to see as one of them? Be clever, be insightful, use Photoshop or whatever you want– we’ll be judging the best entries for the winners!

Now, we’ve also got one copy of the game/soundtrack for you less creative folks out there. Simply link to this contest on your Facebook or Twitter, then go on our Facebook or Twitter and tell us how much you want the game. It’s that simple! It won’t hurt if you liked Rainbow Moon over on Facebook, too!

The full rules can be found below, and, sorry, North Americans only. Check back next week for the winners!

 Rules of Entry

  • This contest is for a digital copy of Rainbow Moon, as well as its physical soundtrack, Melodies. All winners will receive a digital code good for one download of Rainbow Moon and the physical soundtrack. Please be aware that the soundtrack will not ship until August/September. Again, North Americans only!
  • When entering, a valid email address must be provided in your  profile information for contact purposes. If a winner does not respond after one week of being selected, a new one will be chosen in their place.
  • All entries must be received by July 16th, 2012 at 12:00 PM. After this time, entries will be judged based on quality and any other deciding factors. The winners will be announced ASAP on the contest post tagged to the front of the site.

Last but not least, our sincerest thanks goes out to eastasiasoft for providing the prizes!

Well I have read into the game that in a particular dungeon there is a boss whose level is 626 or something like that I thought to myself why not bring an harder enemy.

So I'd like to see Dracula from Castlevania Simon«s quest because I love this game and the level of this boss would need to be 666.

I would like to see, entirely unaltered, an aged Dustin Diamond (Screech, from Saved by the Bell). Occasionally, he would remind the player that he was in a pornographic film, seeming almost hopeful about that fact. Otherwise, he would just seem a bit sad. Melancholy, perhaps, or lost in thought. It would also be appropriate for him to mention, trying (and failing) to seem casual, that he was often conaidered the breakout character of Saved by the Bell, and its sequel, Saved by the Bell: the New Class. I will not tell you why I want this.

Caroll Williams I would like to see a Tonberry that appeared in Final Fantasy but in this version it should be exactly like I changed it in Photoshop I changed with a smiley and with blood on the tip of his knife:

Snakes. I fucking HATE snakes. I don't care if they're a normal-sized enemy in the game, a goddamned anaconda, a motherfucking giant, tree-sized snake, or a medusa-like character. The point is, FUCK snakes and I would kill them all.
