Hotline Miami Announced, Looks Slightly Better than Real Florida

Devolver Digital has enlisted the help of Jonatan Söderström, better known as Cactus, to craft Hotline Miami, a new retro-arcade game for the PC and Mac, with console ports to be determined. It takes place in Miami during the 80′s, featuring top-down pixel art and fast-paced, brutal gameplay. I know what you’re thinking: “hey, that kind of sounds like a demake of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City,” right?

Well, not at all, really. Consider watching the video above about the title, and know that it features over 2 dozen masks that’ll dramatically alter the game. You should check out Cactus’ website if you haven’t already, too, and maybe try calling this number set up in promotion of the game: 786-519-3708. All that should give you an idea of how not normal this is going to be.
