New Beyond: Two Souls Information Revealed

It appears that Comic Con, of all places, has yielded a treasure trove of information about David Cage’s upcoming mindfuck, Beyond: Two Souls. Among the various tidbits of news include quotes from Ellen Page, facts from the filming of the game’s mocap needs, and the fact that Willem Dafoe is definitely not in the game in any way shape or form. Thank God for that, eh?

Anyway, here’s a few tidbits of info about the upcoming PS3 exclusive from world renowned movie game director, David Cage:

Quantic Dream founder David Cage laughed off the flub and Page continued to describe her experience with Beyond as “incredible” and “completely fulfilling.”
Ellen Page has said that her experience with the title was “incredible and completely fulfilling.” Her “brain didn’t even know how to process” the opportunity of the game, when Cage handed her a script in a Los Angeles bar. We don’t know what he did after that, but you can leave that to your imagination. She did say, however, that the game “completely exceeded my expectations and was completely fulfilling as an actor.”

The game was filmed over ten months, and had over 160 actors participating. Cage also spent over a year writing the script, presumably written after he was done masturbating to his own personal pinnacle of accomplishment, Heavy Rain.

What, you want more gameplay info or something? Sorry, there were no new screenshots or videos or anything presented. You’ll probably be waiting a little bit for that, but not too long; the game is set to launch next year, after all.
