If you didn’t get enough shooting action in Shoot Many Robots, you’re in luck: Demiurge Studios has unveiled Shoot Many Robots: Arena Kings for the PC, a brand-new competitive 2D shooter that’s free-to-play via Steam.
Based upon this year’s enjoyable, downloadable 2D shooter, the game is based off of the same style general style of play, but “will continue to build upon its predecessor.” It includes the rather crazy, extensive customization of characters that you’ve grown to love. You’ll be playing as kings that ”murder each other to collect their crowns, and flush them down a teleporting golden toilet,” if you’re into that kind of thing.
There’s no release date set yet, but you can find the closed beta signup right here– key batches are sent out weekly. It certainly has the pedigree to be a decent competitive shooter, and some stylish graphics; does it sound like something you’d be into?
