Years after the game first launched, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World is getting new DLC. Sure, it’s not unusual for games to get long-term support after launch, but this is a title Ubisoft hasn’t updated in ages. Perhaps they forgot about some extra data lying around on a hard drive somewhere?
The DLC adds online multiplayer, which is badass and long overdue, as well as Wallace Wells as a playable character, the gay roomate of Scott who runs the secret shop in the first level of the game. This all comes in at a price of $5 on both the 360 and PS3, and Ubisoft has said more details will be coming “at a later date.”
This is totally unexpected, but definitely awesome. SPvtW was one of the most fun beat-em-ups I’ve played in years, and adding online multiplayer to it will have me crawling back for more, for sure. Anyone excited by this news?

I didn't buy Knives, but for online multiplayer (and the wonderful Wallace Wells), this is a no-brainer. Day one purchase.
