Who would have guessed it? Ubisoft strikes another blow against its console-hating fans as it announced today that Assassin’s Creed 3 for PC won’t be out until November 20th in North America. While not exactly surprising, knowing that they still haven’t figured out how to launch an Assassin’s Creed game at the same time on PC and consoles is daunting. Sure, the first couple times are understandable, but this is like the 17th game in the series, give or take a few.
“Up until now the release date of Assassin’s Creed 3 PC has been unannounced,” Ubisoft craftily proclaims as their loophole for missing the console launch date by a full month. “Today we can officially announce the PC release date as the 23rd November in the UK.” Joystiq later confirmed the United States release mentioned above on November 20th.
Hey, don’t feel so bad, though. We still don’t know when the Wii U version will launch! It could be after the PC date, right?
