Sorry there, chief: it looks like you’ll have to cancel your PlayStation All-Stars Halloween party, because the game’s been delayed from it’s original October 26th launch date. Over on the PlayStation blog, an article preview revealed a new release date for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale: November 20th.
You can see the preview in the image below. The link didn’t lead to an active page, and it’s since been pulled; it’s likely due to someone accidentally hitting “publish” before the actual article was done, and not because of some sly trickster trying to piss off a legion of Sony fanboys.
I’m a bit disappointed by this news, and I’m not quite sure if it’s actually because of the beta, which was running on old code and missing the vast majority of characters and stages. There could be any number of reasons for this, of course, from licensing issues to Sony gearing up for a big holiday promotion to SuperBot just wanting to polish the game up for us all to enjoy at launch.
If that’s the case, I’m fine with waiting an extra month for a better final product. There’s enough stuff coming out in the mean time to keep me busy!

I dont mind as long as we get a finished game
Based on how the beta performed for me, it probably needs a bit of polishing.
I'm actually pretty glad, I think the game needs more work. There are already a mountain of games coming out in October, anyway.
