Valve Has a “Non-Video Game” Reveal Tonight

Valve has stated that they’re going to unveil a brand-new project that’s not “video game related” tonight, causing some controversy over what that exactly might mean. GTTV has an exclusive trailer of the reveal’s subject matter, set to launch on tonight’s episode.

Now, there’s a vast array of speculation accompanying this, but it seems that it boils down to two possibilities: one, a blow-out of their recently announced plans to sell non-gaming applications on Steam, which makes sense in a literal way. Two? Valve recently trademarked “gamerlifemovie” & “gamerlifethemovie” domains.

So, could they be making a movie of some sorts? Even though the subject matter would clearly be the vidya, it’d still be a different medium. Whether this is a full-blown movie, something made on their recent film editing program, or part of that promotion with Cartoon Network, we could find out tonight.

…Or, we could get a live stream from Gabe’s home bathroom as he attempts to pass a 46-foot tapeworm, while being fed lube-covered hamburgers by scantily clad robots. Gaben made a promise to himself that Episode 3 would only come out when the tapeworm did, and that may be tonight. What would you rather watch?
