Less than three weeks after releasing the 3DS XL (LL) in Japan, plans for a special Pikachu-themed 3DS XL system have been revealed. This thunderous 3DS XL version will be released on September 15th and will only be available to those who pre-order it through the Pokemon Center store for 18,900 yen. Pokemon Center will start accepting pre-orders on August 25th and will stop accepting them after an undisclosed amount of pre-orders have been received. If you live in Japan or you’re one of those crazy importing folk, you can pre-order this shocking handheld Here. Just take note that DSi and 3DS games are region-locked. If you live in North America, Nintendo most likely wants you to ignore this news and choose between their disappointing red and blue 3DS XL color variations that launch this Sunday, August 19th.

Wish i was in japan D:
@SoulReaper2580 I almost said that there's a chance we'll get this when Black/White 2 launches, but then I realized how laughable that sounds. This will no doubt go on to be one of those super limited edition systems. :(
@DcalebX That's true, I hope they do it!
That looks sweet. What the fuck is Nintendo's problem though? It wouldn't even be worth buying since I can't play games on it.
