LittleBigPlanet Costumes: Cross-Platform, Single Purchase

If you’ve ever found yourself lacking the strength to resist buying a few Sackboy costumes for LittleBigPlanet or LittleBigPlanet 2, and you just know you’ll be picking up LittleBigPlanet Vita or LittleBigPlanet Karting, you’re in for the next perk of Sony’s cross-promotional madness.

Media Molecule has announced that nearly all costumes that you bought for LBP 1 & 2 will be free to use in the upcoming Vita and racing games, and if you buy some for those games, they’ll work in LBP 1 & 2, too. Merely purchase a costume for one game, and you’ll be able to use it in every LittleBigPlanet! …except the PSP one. No one plays the PSP one.

Now, not all costumes will be available at launch, and some select few may not ever make the jump, but we’d say the gesture is pretty darned nice of Sony and Media Molecule.
