Machinarium for PSN Out in Europe, for Free on PS+

For a game lacking any sort of definitive release date, Machinarium certainly showed up unexpectedly. joining the likes of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and The Walking Dead: Episode 3 as games promised for a specific launch and then inexplicably revoked, the game made a surprise appearance yesterday as a new title on the European PSN– and for free to PlayStation Plus members, to boot.

The game, already available on about half a dozen other platforms, is nonetheless worth owning should you never have played it. Even if you’re not receiving it for free, it’s priced at a mere 7.99€ / £6.49, which is roughly $10 in ‘Murika money. And before you ask, this is only for the PS3 port: the Vita edition might have been rated, but it’s made no appearance or even been referenced to since.

Speaking of which, the developer has reportedly stated the game would be out “soon” for North America, something of a curiosity considering Europe’s been waiting for games we’ve received weeks ago, and that they were promised at the same time. here’s a quick pro-tip: just buy CS:GO on Steam. You won’t regret it.
