Famitsu has revealed a bit of information about the recently revealed Earth Defense Force 4, after several weeks of knowing nothing. Well, we still don’t really know much beyond what was expected, but bear with us– it might head West some day!
First off, and perhaps most importantly, the game will feature online multiplayer, assuredly giving the hectic though repetitive fun a booster shot of modernity. Aside from that, expect to see it on the PS3 & 360 sometime in 2013, though that’s on Japanese moon-time.
I’m still holding out for a release date for the series’ Vita iteration; as much as a new entry in the EDF franchise sounds appealing, I still think the mobility of one of its strongest entries reigns supreme here.
