Earth Defense Force 3 Portable Confirmed for the West

Earth Defense Force 3 Portable, the port of EDF 2017, has been confirmed for a Western release by D3 Publisher. Who ever doubted the plague-like insects wouldn’t migrate to our shores? The game will be coming sometime under the new title of Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable, which might be a smart marketing move, considering the well-regarded game it’s based off of.

Containing all of the original title’s content and some extra missions, the port will also contain some much-appreciated multiplayer, both local and online. Little else is known right now, but hey, it’s Earth Defense Force 2017 on the Vita’s beautiful OLED. It might not scream system seller, but it’s appeal is infamous.
