The talented folks at Visceral Games have tried their hands at a few different genres, but nothing so farfetched as a MOBA has come out of their doors yet. That may change in the future, however, as a job listing for the company is seeking help on a brand-new multiplayer online battle arena title.
A Global Community Manager is being sought, and must have “an unhealthy passion for MOBA games.” Character designers and concept artists are also in the running, both with MOBA-related aspects of the job referenced as things they’ll be working on.Most interestingly? All of these are also located under EA’s “F2P” branch of gaming, suggesting this would be heading down the same road as League of Legends and many other similar games.
So… is it centered around Dead Space? Is it a new IP? Does it even exist? It certainly would be interesting to see the chaps at Visceral give it a go, after the interesting take on multiplayer found in Dead Space 2.
