The first Borderlands 2 expansion has been officially confirmed, days after a trophy patch on the PS3 exposed some minimal details about it. Titled Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, the new DLC will take you to a brand-new locale with new currency, weapons, and a sort of sand-surfing vehicle for your enjoyment. And no, it’s not named after a porno. We checked.
You’ll be able to pick up the expansion on October 16, just a few short days away. If you’ve got the season pass, you can look forward to collecting seraph crystals and sand-skiffing across the new Oasis environment; if not, you’ll be dropping $10 for the privilege of playing it. That said, if you plan on buying all of the DLC, you should probably get the season pass, if only to spend ten bucks less on all 4 packs.
