Rumore Mill: Awesome Hints on Skyrim’s Next DLC

As developers are wont to do, Bethesda seemed to have left a trail of hints in the code of Skyrim’s latest patch, indicating some interesting additions to the game. Said to be titled Dragonborn, it matches up with some of the phrases Bethesda trademarked several months back– including Hearthfire, which was recently released.

Apparently, the code indicates that this expansion will be taking players back to Morrowind, specifically the island of Solstheim. There are also a bunch of references to new weapons and armor, but the biggest and best news is the inclusion of dragon mounts. As in, we will be able to ride dragons. I’m calling it now– if this doesn’t end up on the PS3, Bethesda will be facing a revolt.

The company had no comment to say about this supposed leak, but even if it isn’t the next DLC, it stands to reason this stuff was in the code for something. Let’s hope it hits the light of day; reception towards the first two expansions wasn’t exactly warm.
